The Bottoms Up beer dispenser has been making the rounds lately with this viral video, which demonstrates how much faster draft beer can fill a cup from the bottom of the glass rather than through the traditional beer tap. Supposedly this system can fill up to 44 pints per minute with a single bartender!

After watching this mind-blowing demonstration that seems to defy the laws of beer physics, the obvious questions remain of how the glasses fill without leaking from the bottom.  Wired provides an explanation of how the system works, as well as a few drawbacks of serving beer this way.
