Over the Holiday season I received one of these capcatchers for a gift.  Mine’s personalized, so actual appearance may vary.
I’ve always wanted to mount a bottle cap opener of my own (they’re easy to use), but because I’m renting an apartment, Ive been leary to nail or screw anything into the wall.  This model works well because it uses a magnet I can stick on my fridge, but it’s not the only reason I like using this.
What comes off the bottle must fall down, so most wall-mounted bottle cap openers are installed over a trash bin.  But what if you want to keep the caps?  I like to keep a number of my caps, kind of like other people collect shells from the beaches they’ve visited.  It’s a little memory made all too convinient using these cap catchers…
Now I’m not here to shill for my favorite beers, much less a beer accessory (I’m not the Hank Hill of beer).  Still, I must admit I’ve been pretty happy using my gift the last few weeks.
