My favorite summer beer (this year) is @BrooklynBrewery’s Summer Ale. I started the season trying Schafly’s Helles-Style Summer Lager, which shares a similar malty finish. Other mainstays of mine this year include Blue Point’s Summer Ale, Harpoon’s Belgian, Flying Dog’s Double White, and more than my share of cheap lite-lagers at parties.
