I’m all in favor of the idea that too much beer advertising/marketing is directed towards “men”, but this new beer targeted towards women seems a bit patronizing. After all if women don’t already enjoy the taste of beer (and of course many do), why would they pick this product over any number of malt beverages? Or cocktails, wine, soda, juice, water, etc?
Also “Witness the chickness!” may be one of the weirdest slogans/tag lines I’ve heard for any beverage type, but I digress…
Chick: a new beer made for women.
Ugh. Beer is for everyone. It does not need to be gendered one way or another.
