I’ve been seeing my friends talk about Pizza Beer lately, a brewing company in Illinois, that offers their “Ale brewed with basil, oregano, tomato and garlic”. I have to admit the combination of flavors sounds terrible, even though I pair pizza and beer frequently enough and have been known to mix tomato juice and lager on occasion. Still, it’s hard for me to get past this combination known as “Mama Mia! Pizza beer”..

I created a Foursquare list of Breweries around the St. Louis metro area (my hometown), which other beer lovers can use on their next visit or tour of the midwest. St. Louis is home to a number of breweries and a burgeoning craft beer scene.
Notice your favorite brewery (or any omissions) from the list? Leave a comment here so I can add it to the list.
Follow Brew Noob on Foursquare for more lists/tours of breweries and bars across the country.
On this day in 1814, the streets of london’s breweries ran with imeperial beer, tripped by a domino effect of spilled beer washing through their buildings in brewer’s row.
I’d like it even more they came out with a Double Mountain Double Rainbow ale…
this is one of my favorite breweries right now

Touring the Sixpoint brewery in Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY. It’s operated out a tiny workspace not much bigger than a 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Brooklyn’s Red Hook community. Still out of the tiny brewery come some of the most creative, and lovingly brewed beverages available in New York.
Sixpoint is close to where I live in Brooklyn and is available at many of the best bars around NYC, so I hope to visit one of my favorite local breweries during American Craft Beer Week!
Good people drink good beer.
